How far is the Vila Lule from Durres center?
Vila Lule is located along the wonderful coast of the Adriatic Sea, only 4.8km away from Durres center. You can get there by Taxi (5€ – 8€), by public transport (0.35€ / 40 LEK) or you can take a walk along the coast which it takes around 50 minutes.
Do we need a car in Albania?

Places not to be missed in the city of Durres?
Durres is the most ancient city in Albania or the eternal city over Adriatic sea , with almost 3,000 years of history. The city is home to many ancient archaeological sites and finds. The most notable tourist attraction in Durrës is the amphitheater of the Roman Emperor Hadrian with 15,000 seats, the second biggest amphitheater in the Balkans.

One-third of the original wall of the city castle is still standing, and you can even walk along the same road that Caesar himself once strolled. The Archeological Museumis located in a new building on Taulantia road , one of the most important of its kind and of great interest to visitors. The most renowned archaeological structure found in Durrës is “Bukuroshja e Durrësit,” a mosaic from the 4thcentury B.C. Today, it is exhibited in the National Historic Museum in Tirana.

In addition to the Mediterranean & Italian cuisine of the restaurants located in the coastal area and the city center, in the suburban areas there are some agro-tourism where you can enjoy the traditional cuisine and products of Albania combined with natural beauties.
